IANWC Part-Time Qur'an/Tahfeez Program Registration

The Islamic Association of NW Calgary will resume part-time Qur’an classes in September for the 2026-2027 academic year. Registration for either the Ranchlands Musallah or Maryam Masjid location is now available. 

The purpose of this program is to develop the students’ proficiency in regards to recitation and memorization, as well as to teach/encourage the use of proper tajweed when reading the Qur’an.

Students (boys and girls) can register for either the Monday/Wednesday, Tuesday/Thursday, or all 4 day classes, each of which run from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm. Classes begin on September 1st, 2026.

In the case of an incident, the IANWC and the instructors WILL NOT be held liable for any injuries sustained during the program. Teachers will not stay before or after class hours; parents are responsible to pick up students as soon as class is over. Do you consent?
There is a ZERO tolerance policy for bullying, harassment, name calling, physical abuse/violence, and all other forms of inappropriate/harmful behaviour towards other students or teachers for the duration of the program. Any child involved in the above offenses will be immediately expelled from the program and the program fee will not be returned. Do you consent?
All parents are required to collect their child(ren) upon the conclusion of each class, Monday through Thursday. RANCHLANDS MUSALLAH’s duty of supervision and care over the child(ren) terminates at the conclusion of each class.
I hereby grant full media consent for my child to be video/photographed for the purposes of social media marketing. I understand this content may be used in promotional material on various social media platforms.
